The University of Sulaimani extends its warmest regards to persons with disabilities across the globe, with a special recognition of those in the Kurdistan Region. This day is a vital opportunity to highlight their rights and work towards equality and justice for all.

A Message from the University Presidency:
On this International Day of Persons with Disabilities, we send our heartfelt congratulations to everyone in Kurdistan and around the world who identifies as part of this community. We wish you all the very best in achieving your aspirations.

We also want to express our sincere appreciation to the staff and academic community of the University of Sulaimani for their hard work and dedication. The University remains steadfast in its efforts to support persons with disabilities by providing educational opportunities and fostering an inclusive environment, and we will continue to do so across all areas of university life.

We firmly believe that no member of society should be left behind. Discrimination and exclusion are not only unfair but also hinder social progress. We are committed to fostering meaningful change to address these injustices.

At the University of Sulaimani, our mission goes beyond academics. We strive to create a community where every individual, regardless of their background or circumstances, can thrive, achieve their goals, and feel valued and included.

As advocates for the rights of persons with disabilities, we welcome opportunities to collaborate with organizations and institutions working towards this shared mission. Our doors remain open to initiatives that seek to make a difference in their lives.

Once again, we extend our congratulations on this significant day and wish you every success for the future.
