Application for an Erasmus+ Teaching Staff Mobility at the University of Santiago de Compostela is Now Open
We are excited to announce a call for applications for the Erasmus+ KA171 Mobility Program, an excellent opportunity for teaching staff to enhance their professional and academic experience through international exchange.
Program Details:
- Grant: 160 €/day for 7 days (5 working days + 2 travel days) + 820 € (travel grant)
- Mobility Period: The mobility period will take place between September 2024 and mid-May 2025.
Eligibility Requirements:
To be considered for this mobility program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Teaching Staff: The program is open to current teaching staff members (Assistant lecturer, lecturer, Assistant Professor, and Professor ) affiliated with the University of Sulaimani.
- English Proficiency: Applicants must provide proof of English proficiency with a minimum IELTS score of 6. This is a critical requirement to ensure effective communication and engagement during the mobility period.
- Required Documents:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV): A detailed CV outlining academic qualifications and teaching experience.
- Passport Copy: A valid passport copy.
- Proof of Employment: An official document confirming your current employment and affiliation with the University of Sulaimani. (in Kurdish or English)
- Candidate must present a comprehensive and innovative teaching proposal.
- Invitation Letter: A letter of invitation from a professor at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC). Once we receive the documents, we will guide you on how to request an invitation letter
- Mobility Agreement: A completed and signed Mobility Agreement. After nomination process
Application Deadline:
The deadline for submitting all application materials is 10th September 2024. Late submissions will not be considered.
Please note that incomplete submissions, including those missing any required documents, will still be included in the selection process. However, priority will be given to complete applications.
Selection Process:
- 1 Teaching staff member can visit the USC under this mobility programme
- The selection process will be conducted by a committee to ensure transparency and fairness
- The final decision will be based on the applicant’s qualifications, the completeness of the application, and the alignment with the program’s objectives.
- Applicants with knowledge of the Spanish language will be given priority in the selection.
