The Language Centre was established in 2011 as an independent, university-wide directorate and community service. It offers a wide range of English courses, as well as courses in other languages. The Centre provides English language instruction to government employees, graduates from universities in Kurdistan, university lecturers, and private sector employees who wish to improve their English skills. Additionally, we support members of the University of Sulaimani and its colleges who require foreign language proficiency for study, research, academic exchange, or personal and professional development.
Our language and culture center strives to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment where individuals can come together to learn and appreciate different language education. We believe that language and cultural understanding are essential for global communication and cooperation, and we are committed to promoting these values through our programs and services. Our mission is to inspire, educate, and empower individuals to become confident communicators in using their preferred language.
