University of Sulaimani signs MoU with four Iranian Universities in Isfahan and Tehran

Following an official invitation, a delegation from University of Sulaimani visited Isfahan University of Technology (IUT), Isfahan University, Isfahan University of Medical Sciences and Payame Noor University of Tehran. The University of Sulaimani delegation members were:

1- Professor Dr. Salahalddin Saeed Ali - President of University of Sulaimani (Head of the Delegation).

2- Professor Dr. Jalal Ahmed Saeed - Dean of Faculty of Engineering.

3- Assist. Prof. Dr. Aram Abbas Mohammed- Dean of Faculty of Agricultural Sciences

4- Professor Dr. Bakhtiar Qader Aziz - Dean of the Faculty of Science and Science Education.

5- Dr. Rebwar Saeed Rashed - Dean of School of Fine Arts.

6- Dr. Karzan Ghafur Khidhir – Director of Foreign Relations

Alongside the University of Sulaimani delegation, a delegation from Sulaimani Polytechnic University comprised of President, Vice-President and group of Deans were also invited to visit those universities.

On Saturday May 23rd the delegation from University of Sulaimani and Sulaimani Polytechnic University visited Isfahan University of Technology (IUT), where they were warmly received by Isfahan University of Technology President Professor Dr S. M. Modarres Hashemi, and other university officials at IUT the presidency building.

Initially Professor Dr S. M. Modarres Hashemi welcomed the delegation, explained IUT and talked about possibilities of establishing academic cooperation between the universities.

The President of University of Sulaimani Professor Dr. Salahalddin Saeed Ali thanked the IUT for their invitation and warm welcome and explained university of Sulaimani in details to the attendees; then introduced the university of Sulaimani delegation members. The President of University of Sulaimani expressed University of Sulaimani's willingness to establish academic ties with the well established IUT especially in terms of joint research projects, and hosting PhD students.

Later they delegation members from both University of Sulaimani and SPU were given tour of IUT including the main research laboratories.

On Sunday May 24th, the delegation from University of Sulaimani and Sulaimani Polytechnic University visited University of Isfahan where they were received by Isfahan University Chancellor Professor Hooshang Talebi and other university officials at University of Isfahan. The President of University of Sulaimani Professor Dr. Salahalddin Saeed Ali thanked the University of Isfahan for their invitation and warm welcome and explained university of Sulaimani in details to the attendees; then introduced the university of Sulaimani delegation members. The President of University of Sulaimani expressed University of Sulaimani's willingness to establish academic relations with the well established University of Isfahan especially in terms of joint research projects, and hosting PhD students.

Later on the delegation of University of Sulaimani headed by the President of University of Sulaimani Professor Dr. Salahalddin Saeed Ali and Vice President of SPU visited Isfahan University of Medical Sciences and received by the university officials.

The President of University of Sulaimani expressed University of Sulaimani's willingness to establish academic relations with the Isfahan University of Medical Sciences in terms of joint research projects, and hosting PhD students especially in nursing field.

On Monday May 24th the delegation from University of Sulaimani and Sulaimani Polytechnic University visited Payame Noor University, Tehran , where they were warmly received by President Professor Mohammad Ali Sarlak, and other university officials.

The President of University of Sulaimani Professor Dr. Salahalddin Saeed Ali thanked the Payame Noor University, Tehran for their invitation and warm welcome and explained university of Sulaimani in details to the attendees; then introduced the university of Sulaimani delegation members. The President of University of Sulaimani expressed University of Sulaimani's willingness to establish academic ties with the Payame Noor University.

Later they delegation members from both University of Sulaimani and SPU Visited Ministry of Science and met with the H.E. Deputy Minister for International Affairs, Dr Salari and discussed possible academic and scientific cooperation between University of Sulaimani and Sulaimani Polytechnic University and Iranian Universities.
