 Call to action: This is an opportunity for university researchers in our University to apply for doctoral grants, jointly awarded by the British Council-TIRF. 

The International Research Foundation for English Language Education (TIRF) is a non-profit organisation committed to strengthening links between theory, practice and policy in English language education. They foster partnerships among researchers in the field around the world.
 
The British Council have partnered with TIRF to offer additional Doctoral Dissertation Grants in 2015. These grants will have clear implications for policy-makers and others in positions to make decisions involving English language education practices. We are now calling for submissions for these grants, and will be awarding up to US $5,000 per proposal.
 
All applicants must be clearly advanced to doctoral candidacy at dissertation stage. For more information, please visit the website.
 
Applicants must complete the DDG application form. All applications must be submitted electronically.
