 An appreciation occasion organized for the University of Sulaimani (UoS) on June 23rd 2015 by the delegations of Mosul University, represented by their University President (Dr. Abi Saeed al-Diwajy) and a groupof their lecturers whom visited  the University of Sulaimani (UoS), which then received a warm welcome from the UoS president (Prof. Salahaddin Saeed Ali) and the Vice Presidents in the new campus presidency building.

During this visit, University of Mosul President (Dr. Abi Saeed al-Diwajy), praised his Gratitude to University of Sulaimany President, academic and administrative staff members  for all the help and support in this years term which was given towards the University of Mosul students, staffs and lecturers who were displace from their homeland due to the crisis occurred in Mosul by the ISIS militant and they continued their academic duties in University of Sulaimani by having the Mosul Universiy office opened in the Sulaimani University for the purpose of continuing study and their exams of the displaced student which was provided purely by the Sulaimani University.
 
In return the University of Mosul President presented their appreciation honor's Prize to University of Sulaimani, the Vice President for Scientific Affairs (Asst Prof. Khasraw Abdulla Rashid), (Asst Prof. Bakhtyar Muhammad) Vice President for Administrative Affairs, (Asst Prof. Aras Fareeq Zainal) Vice President for Student Affairs, Head of School of Science Education (Asst Prof. Aras Saeed Mahmood), and (Asst Prof. Faraidun Kader).  
 
In fact, it is also important to indicate, since the current situation and crisis in the middle and west of Iraq, by the Islamic militant ISIS. The University of Sulaimani efforted the best to assist the education as a National and Moral Duties, to help the displaced students and staff to continue with their study, through an organized protocols and Coordination between the Universities. This has happened between the University of Mosul and University of Sulaimani by opening the particular office for this coordination, which in total allowed seventy-seven (77) Academic staff, thirty-one (31) administrative personnel and three hundred and fifty (350) Students to continue with their obligations in UoS.
