The Consul-General of the Federal Republic of Germany visited UoS

 Mr. Dieter Lamle, the Consul-General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Erbil, Kurdistan Region visited university of Sulaimani on Monday June 29th and he was received by University of Sulaimani President Professor Dr. Salahalddin Saeed Ali, and members of University Council including Vice President for Scientific affairs and post Graduate Student Assistant Professor Dr. Khasraw A.Rashid, Dean of Faculty of Agricultural Sciences Assistant Professor Dr Aram Abbas, Dean of Faculty of Science and Science Education Professor Dr Bakhtiar Qadir, Dean of Faculty of Basic Education Assistant Professor Dr Abbas Mustafa, Dean of Faculty of Medical Sciences Dr Ari Sami, Dean of Faculty of Fine Arts Dr Rebwar Saeed, Dean of Faculty of Engineering Professor Dr Jalal Ahmed, Dean of College of Commerce Dr Narmin Marouf, Head of School of Physical Education Dr Ali Qader, as well as Dr Ahmad member of Faculty of Basic Education and Director of Foreign Relations Dr. Karzan G. Khidhir.

University of Sulaimani President Professor Dr. Salahalddin welcomed Mr. Dieter Lamle and Mr Ihsan and explained University of Sulaimani History, current Faculties and Departments, undergraduate and postgraduate studies, reform process, cooperation with international universities ....etc for the guests. Then both sides discussed establishing and promoting academic and scientific cooperation between the German Universities and University of Sulaimani. Dr. Salahalddin also thanked Mr. Dieter Lamle and the rest of the Consulate staff for all their support to University of Sulaimani staff.
 
 
  The German Consul-General to Kurdistan Region was then given a tour of University of Sulaimani’s new campus.  Mr. Dieter Lamle expressed his happiness to see the developed University of Sulaimani and extended his support to promote academic cooperation between the German Universities and University of Sulaimani.
