The educational programs, at the college of languages, will be changed
Within the framework of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to review the educational programs of all the departments and colleges in Kurdistan Region, today, Feb 20 2023, an important meeting has been held at the presidency building of university of Sulaimani concerning the development of educational programs of language colleges.
The meeting was supervised by Dr. Mohammed Hussein, the Director General of the supervision and quality assurance & Apparatus Agency at Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research and also supervisor of high level committee of educational program development in language colleges of universities of Kurdistan, with the college deans, department heads
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Mohammed Hussein explained the Ministry’s plan and strategies for reviewing the educational programs and talked about the importance of bridging the educational facilities with the market and preparing the graduates for it.
Afterwards, the deans talked about the importance of this step by the ministry. Later on, some of the invited students from college of languages expressed their appreciation of such a step and requested to have such steps as an important part in the revision of the programs.
In the end, the department heads expressed their attitudes and decided to actualize the changes as soon as possible in all the universities.
