Change in Leadership: Appointment of a New Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies

On June 18, 2023, in a ceremony with the presence of Prof. Dr. Kosar M. Ali, the president of the University of Sulaimani, an exchange of position of Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies was carried out. The ceremony was attended by the distinguished Vice Presidents Prof. Dr. Kawa M. Jamal Rashid (the Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs), and Asst. Prof. Dr. Peshraw Hamajan Aziz (the Vice President for Student Affairs).

In this regard, Prof. Dr. Kawa A. M. Amin, the former Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies vacated his post and Asst. Prof. Dr. Zana M. Hassan has taken the responsibility as the new Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies.

The President of the University of Sulaimani, expressed his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Prof. Dr. Kawa A. M. Amin for his unwavering dedication and achievements during his tenure. Additionally, the president of the University extended warm congratulations to Asst. Prof. Dr. Zana M. Hassan on assuming the esteemed position and expressed sincere wishes for continued success and accomplishments in this new role.
