English placement tests were conducted at University of Sulaimani

On August 10, 2023, Prof. Dr. Kosar Mohammed, President ofUniversity of Sulaimani, and his accompanying delegation visited the English placement test hall.

The aim of conducting a placement test to determine the English language level of applicants and then participate in English language courses at English language centers of Kurdistan Regional Universities for the purpose of obtaining English language proficiency requirements for receiving scientific titlesand obtaining higher/master’s and doctoral degrees in public universities in the Kurdistan Region.

It is worth mentioning that the total number of applicants in Kurdistan universities is 2890 applicants and the test will be conducted centrally at the language centers of public universities in the Kurdistan Region under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Kurdistan Region.
