Three Kurdistan Region Universities Establish Advisory Board

A tripartite advisory board will be established among the University of Sulaimani, Halabja University, and Charmo University aimed at fostering collaboration and alignment among universities, as well as the private and public sectors.
According to Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdulfattah Hawrami, Director of the Center for Coordination and Society at the University of Sulaimani, the advisory board will be overseen by an academic faculty member, with membership comprising various individuals from the private sector.
The primary objective of the board is to cultivate synergy among universities, the private sector, the public sector, and civil society organizations, facilitating joint initiatives in research, training, development, and industry.
Notably, on March 10, 2024, a panel titled the Industry Advisory Board was convened, featuring Dr. Khatab Ahmad and Dr. Amanj Abdullah. Representatives from the University of Sulaimani, Halabja University, and Charmo University attended the panel, where the objectives and goals of the IAB project were discussed and elucidated.
