University of Sulaimani to Host Symposium on Personal Status Law Reform

On September 5, 2024, the College of Law at the University of Sulaimani will host a scientific symposium titled “The Impact of the Draft Amendment to the Personal Status Law on Legal Stability and Court Operations.” The event will feature Prof. Dr. Faruk Abdullah Karim, a faculty member at the College of Law; Judge Kamran Rasul Saeed, of the Personal Status Court in Sulaymaniyah; Dr. Briar Rashid Sharif, a member of the Iraqi Parliament; and Asst.Prof. Dr. Bokan Abubakr Karim, a lecturer at the College of Law. The symposium will take place in the conference hall at the University of Sulaimani.
