University of Sulaimani President Oversees Renovation of University Museum

 

The President of the University of Sulaimani, Prof. Dr. Kosar Mohammed Ali, together with former Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Kawa Mohamed Jamal, and Dr. Sirwan Muhsin, Dean of the College of Science, along with deans and lecturers from the Departments of Archaeology in the College of Humanities and Biology, visited the University of Sulaimani Museum.

The museum is currently undergoing modern renovations under the president’s supervision. Once completed, it is expected to become a significant cultural site, welcoming both the general public and students.

During his visit, the president proposed improvements for the museum’s departments, working closely with expert faculty to ensure it evolves into a modern museum.

The University of Sulaimani’s collection includes historically and culturally significant artifacts, as well as rare animal specimens from the mountains of Kurdistan, which will be highlighted in the museum’s future exhibitions.
