On September 26, 2024, Prof. Dr. Kosar Mohammed Ali, President of the University of Sulaimani, visited the College of Humanities Education in Said Sadiq. He was accompanied by Dr. Zana Mahmood, Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies; Dr. Shirwan Hama Salih, Vice President for Student Affairs; and other university officials. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Dr. Amanj Hassan Ahmad, Dean of the College.
Following a tour of several departments at the College of Humanities Education, Prof. Dr. Kosar Mohammed Ali congratulated the newly appointed Dean. He expressed his appreciation to the Dean, faculty, and staff for their commitment to managing their responsibilities effectively, despite ongoing challenges. During the meeting, he listened to feedback and requests from various departments and administrative units, encouraging the academic staff to continue developing initiatives that would positively impact the local community. He emphasized the importance of aligning educational programs with labor market needs and urged the college to gather accurate data on workforce demands to better prepare skilled graduates.
