During a recent field visit, Prof. Dr. Kosar Mohammed Ali, President of the University of Sulaimani, along with Asst. Prof. Dr. Zana Mahmood, Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Shirwan Hama Salih, Vice President for Student Affairs, explored the farm of an exceptional farmer in Halabja.
Accompanied by several experts and faculty from the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, the President closely inspected the agricultural projects and diverse products cultivated by Azad Mohammed, an outstanding farmer in Halabja. Throughout the visit, he inquired about the methods and techniques employed in the production process.
Azad Mohammed highlighted the significance of the President’s visit and the support from his team, expressing that assistance from a prestigious institution like the University of Sulaimani is something he will always cherish. He then guided the delegation on a tour of his farm, sharing detailed insights into his operations and products.
After examining the farm and its crops, the President of the University of Sulaimani presented Azad Mohammed with the official university logo as a token of appreciation for his contributions to the agricultural sector and promotion of local products. He also mentioned plans to coordinate with faculty members to arrange visits for agriculture students to the farm.
