The announcement of the world rankings and the historical results for the University of Sulaimani coincided with the attendance of the Director of the Ranking Directorate, who represented the University of Sulaimani at the World Academic Summit, jointly hosted by the Times Institute and the University of Manchester in the U.K. from October 7 to 9.

Dr. Arsto Nasir Ahmed, Director of the Ranking Directorate at the University of Sulaimani, shared with the university website: “We had the opportunity to meet with senior officials from the Times Institute and representatives from the participating universities to explore various relationships and collaboration opportunities between the University of Sulaimani and other institutions.”
He further noted, “Fortunately, senior officials from both the Times Institute and the University of Manchester extended their congratulatory messages and emphasized the significance of participation from all universities in the region at this global summit.”
