Digitalising the registration of the Kurdistan Universities came into the force after it had been recommended by Deputy Prime Minister, Qubad Talabani for the MHE, considering that it increases the level of services and decreases routines.

This process will be fulfilled in some phases. In the first phase, from 1968, once the University of Sulaimani established until now, the information and the data of all students’ will be entered by the University of Sulaimani employees.  This process has commenced from The University of Sulaimani as the first step and it will be launched in both Salahadeen and Duhok Universities in a nearer future. After this, the second phase will start in which the students’ affairs such as exam methods, student’s questions and obtaining answers, their connection with teachers and releasing certificates are organised via a modern, electronic and standard system.

This digitalised process can be regarded as one of the significant project of the MHE as it will digitalise all MHE’s affairs and link all the Kurdistan Universities together. Thus, it will be completed in the next four years.

In the ceremony, Dr. Yosul Goran expressed his gratitude to the Sulaimani University teaching staff and employees and congratulated the students for launching this process as it probably increases the quality of the services and decreases the routine in the connection between the teachers and the students. Furthermore, he confirmed his minister’s support for the process. ‘’ One of the characteristics of the world’s high-ranked universities is having lesser routines and carrying out the duties in a shortest period of time’’, the minster added.
