The Consul-General of the Netherlands visited University of Sulaimani

Mr. John van der Zande, the Consul-General of the Netherlands in Erbil, Kurdistan Region has visited university of Sulaimani on Sunday May 10th where he was received by University of Sulaimani President Professor Dr. Salahalddin Saeed Ali, Vice President for Scientific affairs and post Graduate Student Assistant Professor Dr. Khasraw A.Rashid, Dean of Faculty of Agricultural Sciences Assistant Professor Aram Abbas Mohammed, Director of Foreign Relations Dr. Karzan Ghafur Khidhir.

President Professor Dr. Salahalddin welcomed Mr. John van der Zande and explained University of Sulaimani History, current Faculties and Departments, undergraduate and postgraduate studies, reform process, cooperation with international universities ....etc.

Then both sides discussed establishing academic and scientific cooperation between Dutch Universities and University of Sulaimani.

The Netherlands Consul-General to Kurdistan Region was then given a tour of University of Sulaimani’s new campus and attended an Opera at the Department of Music, Faculty of Fine Arts.

Mr. John van der Zande expressed his happiness to see the developed University of Sulaimani and extended his support to establish cooperation between the Dutch Universities and University of Sulaimani.
